The Great and Majestic
George Washington Bridge. It's interesting how each of our bridges bare
a different personality. This one which crosses the Hudson River to connect
NYC with the State of New Jersey is really something else. Crossing it is
quite a true treat as you get wonderful views up and down and from way above
the Hudson and the Palisades on the Jersey side makes it an even bigger
treat!
With a length of 7,140 feet, the GWB was built from 1927-1931. |
