| Here is a photo of the Broadway Bridge at the northern most tip of Manhattan Island. It connects NYC with the Borough of the Bronx. It's a very small bridge which crosses the Harlem River and which the #1 & 9 trains pass over. | The picture here is of the University Heights Bridge which connects the Bronx with Manhattan Island. It's yet another which crosses the Harlem River. Under this bridge is the Metro North Railroad. For it's small size, it's actually a pretty bridge because of its structure and chosen mint colors. Nothing to go out of your way for in the very least, but just thought to share. |

| At just about the right time of day, at the right time of year you can get the most interesting photos of our NYC bridges. The photos here are of the Brooklyn Bridge at two different times in the Winter. The first was taken from the third floor outside walk of the South Street Seaport where you'll often see many seagulls, loons and other waterfowl hanging out. | The second photo is taken from just north of South Street. As I've said, be there at the right time with your camera and you'll get many interesting photos. |
