Snow at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, NYC Photos Gallery - Page 2
The torii and viewing pavilion at the Japanese HIll and Garden. The torii on the pond.
Another photograph of the pool at the Japanese Hill and Garden atop which is the torii and the viewing pavilion. On this day the pavilion was closed, but visit it in Spring or Summer or on other warm days to get some really great closeup views of the life within the pond. The torii at the pool. It's a wonderful day to walk about and see what the garden looks like with snow covered earth. The pond itself on such cold days in the NYC Winter Season is of course glazed over with a sheen of ice.

Sunset nears at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. another photo of the pool within the Japanese Hill and Garden.
Sunset was nearing on this winter day. Here in these photos are views of the pool at the Japanese Hill and Garden. Snow and ice cover the water while bare limbs hang overhead. Amazingly it can be so very peaceful within the grounds of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on such a day despite the bitter cold. Whatever the weather and whichever the season it would behoove anyone to bring along a camera so's to get some neat photos of the BBG's grounds, trees, plant life and scenic views.
