| Outside photo of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Steinhardt Conservatory. This large glass structure is home to the BBG's extensive indoor plant collection. | Bonsai Trees galore abound within the Bonsai Museum inside of the Steinhardt Conservatory of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Within this section of the BBG are two sets of Bonsai trees. There are those which are arranged out and about within one's reach and then there are those which need to be kept in climate controlled enclosures. It goes without saying that being able to get a close up view with one's eyes is a treat onto itself. |

| The Bonsai Garden within one of the Conservatories at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden has a large number of Bonsai Trees in all shapes and sizes. Natural living artistry is what yours truly calls it but then again after doing some research, we've learned that although Bonsai originated in China, it was adopted as an art form by Japan. | Also, did you know that Bonsai's literal translation is: "plant in a tray"? Regardless of what or how it's called and what the details are of its origins they truly are beautiful artistic creations. Living works of art in one of New York City's best known living museums: The Brooklyn Botanic Garden. |
