Sunset
photos from the Brooklyn Bridge facing south along the East River with
the lower part of Manhattan Island on the right side. Yours truly has
yet to cross the Brooklyn Bridge or any of the other bridges for that
matter during the morning hour. But rest assured it's an experience to
cross the Brooklyn Bridge at least during the early evening when the
Sun is shining its last hour of light upon the New York City Skyline. |
Although not visible
in these photos, in person one can see the Statue
of Liberty in the far off distance when stretching one's sight beyond
the lower Manhattan tip. In this instance the setting Sun just happens
to go down at and around the same spot where Lady
Liberty stands proud. Where the Sun sets would of course change throughout
the year. |
