| The Sun pours through
the trees just before a quick yet strong Spring
Shower. Here at the park also takes place the '7th On Sixth' fashion shows
four times a year. Most appropriate are the poetry readings which take place
here from time to time. Of course, William Cullen Bryant was a well known
poet himself. |
Statue of Gertrude
Stein sits at Bryant Park just behind the NY Public Library. In addition
to this statue are other monuments including one of William Cullen Bryant
after whom the park is named. The location of these statues are quite fitting
considering that Gertrude Stein was a notable American Writer and William
Cullen Bryant, an American poet and journalist. That is, their location
behind our grand NY Public Library. |
