| Outside photo of the Staten Island Ferry terminal located just below the South Street Seaport and above Battery Park. You'll see 1000's if not tens of thousands on any day pass through this area on their way to their homes in SI or into Manhattan Island. | And the rush is on! Inside the ferry upon boarding as hundreds of folks stampede (errr, the word is 'rush') in. Often times you'll catch plenty of individuals heading to the far end of the boat so's to either get a good view during the journey or so's to be the first one's off the ship once we reach our destination. |

| There are plenty of spots to sit or stand and enjoy the ocean breeze, and boy! It gets awfully windy out here. Something which is both welcomed and refreshing during the hot Summer days in New York City. Here we are leaving Manhattan Island. | The views are definitely photo-taking moments. In this photo we're heading back to Manhattan. You can see the statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan in the far off distance. Our ferry heads forth at a decent speed since it doesn't take long for what first appears to be a tiny version of our city to a closeup spectacular city-scape. |
