| At Flushing Meadows Corona Park is the Unisphere, a stainless-steel globe above a reflecting pool with fountains. Although you won't see this fountain filled throughout the year it's a beaut with or without it. | The 3 orbits encircling the globe signify the paths of artificial satellites. The Unisphere stands 140 feet tall and was presented at the 1964 World's Fair which took place within Flushing Meadows. |
