Part of what was once the NY State Pavillion these towers and the area below are the second most noticeable Flushing Meadows' sites from a distance. besides this structure is the Queens Theatre in the Park. A special note to consider is how the World's Fair of 1964 - 1965 took place during the 300th Anniversary of the city of New York.
