| Located at Rockefeller
Plaza in NYC between 49th and 50th Streets and between 5th and 6th Avenues
is the Rink. Opened from October to April this particular spot attracts
thousands if not millions every year. Not only because of it's great locale,
its scenic vantage point with the rest of the Rockefeller Center buildings
surrounding it, but also because of all the great Christmas time decorations
which adorn the trees, plant life, center and elsewhere within this area.
Of course there's also the Christmas Tree. |
The lighting of which is an
annual event watched the country over on television. With stars performing
and other celebrities taking part in the festivity, it's an event not to
be missed. It's been said somewhere that Rockefeller Center is the "unofficial
Christmas Capital of America". Gee, they're probably right. |
