Bronx Victory Column with bronze statue of Athena atop. Unfortunately, this statue isn't too visible during the Summer months. But in Winter? Definitely. To be honest, it's best viewed and appreciated from afar, considering its height and all.

One of the best things about Pelham Bay Park are the many areas allotted for picnicing and barbeques. The areas photographed above include paths here and there. Seems like there are paths leading to the beach and other parts of the park. We haven't investigated yet. As soon as we do, we'll include additional photos.
