Close up of a Snowman at Pelham Parkway. This boulevard which was originally named "Bronx and Pelham Parkway" is really a beauty to hike along in the late days of Spring, any day in Summer, and the mid to late days of Autumn. The turning leaves throughout this stretch of parkland can be quite spectacular! You can't see its face fully, but here is a squirrel which caught my eye. Or did I catch his/hers? In NYC squirrels can be the best feature of wildlife in the city. They're awfully curious and extremely friendly.

A street along Bruckner Boulevard just across Pelham Bay Park. The limbs of a tree are heavy with snow as we pass carefully below. Careful that is to not be drenched in snow before reaching the other side.
