Stroll across the Queensboro Bridge, NYC Photos Gallery - Page 4
The path is marked for the sake of bikers and walkers. Photograph of the Roosevelt Island Tram.
As you can see here, the path across the Queensboro Bridge is marked for the sake of pedestrians and bicyclists. With a total length of 7,449 feet it may seem like a huge task but it's really not. The views of the East River should keep you occupied throughout the entire walk. Here is the Roosevelt Island Tram with a trauler heading south on the East River. One is close enough to see the faces of the people inside of the tram. So why not take that trip yourself? It costs a mere $1.50 each way!

Facing Midtown Manhattan during our walk across. Interesting photo of the Queensboro Bridge.
Two additional interesting photos of the Queensboro Bridge. Photo on left is facing Manhattan Island and Photo on the right is facing the borough of Queens. Whether with friends or by oneself, this trip isn't the best that New York City has to offer but it's definitely worth it!
