A taxicab speeds by through the rain. Lower Manhattan through a mid Summer Thunderstorm which didn't seem to end.
Within these photos we're now just exiting the Tribeca area
and heading east towards Chinatown just below Canal Street.

Rushing on through towards Chinatown in NYC. As one would expect, the cars aren't that visible on day like today.
After the drought New York City had suffered through during the earlier part of the year, storms like this one are well welcomed. Of course we've experienced perhaps a record number of storms this Summer. Something had predicted. Unfortunately, contrary to New Yorkled's belief that the temperature would also be lower this Summer than normal, that just wasn't mean't to be, it seems.
