Here is the 79th Street Marina. Photo taken of the extended part of Riverside Park.
The 79th Street Marina off of Riverside Park. Here you'll find boats of all sizes and even a boat house or two. Riverside South, the recently and newly added stretch from 68th to 72nd Street. Along with the soccer fiels and basketball courts added there's also this pier which extends about 750 feet into the Hudson River. Nothing spectacular mind you. Yours truly really thinks a few dozen trees could spruce things up a bit.

Just try to walk as far north as you can get. Pretty far indeed. Our Hudson River basks in the late Spring Sun.
Plenty of park land exists for sunbathing and picnicing. The photo here is of the area just above the marina in the low 80s. On a different day we stroll along heading south from 135th Street. Here is the sun glaring upon the Hudson Rive with New Jersey in the backdrop.
