Roosevelt Island Tram, NYC Photos Gallery - Page 2
Closeup Photo of the Queensboro Bridge. Look down below at the base of the Queensboro from the Roosevelt Island Tram.

As we travel across the East River we get some spectacular closeups of the Queensboro Bridge. You can see all the traffic on the Queensboro as well as the towers, the girders and more. The Queensboro Bridge is a two level cantilever bridge connecting Manhattan Island with the borough of Queens.

Should you ever get the chance then why not cross this bridge by foot. Yes, that's right. This is one of the four Manhattan connected East River Bridges which can be crossed by foot or bicycle. But be sure you've the time since we last clocked ourselves as having taken well over 20 minutes to get across. Or was it longer?

Pictured here is one of the towers of the Queensboro as well as the traffic leaving Manhattan and traveling onto the bridge.

With a total length of 7,449 feet this is considered to be the busiest of the East River Bridges.
