South Street Seaport, NYC Photos Gallery - Page 1 |
Photos here are of one of the historic ships, the Peking, and the Pavillion at the South Street Seaport located in lower Manhattan. The Pavillion itself is a 3 story structure stocked with plenty of shops and restaurants. | With plenty of fantastic views of the East River, the ships and even the 3 lower East River Bridges, the pavillion is a "must do" attraction even if you don't plan on shopping or eating. Perhaps the most exciting view from this locale is that of the Brooklyn Bridge. |
Here are photos of the Wavertree and Ambrose ships at South Street. The other ships found here are the Pioneer, Peking, Lettie G. Howard and the W. O. Decker. | One is actually welcomed to board one of these ships for a small amount which includes entrance to the South Street Seaport Museum. On a perfect day these ships and the rest of the seaport can really be fulfilling. |
