Photos taken here at the Lake just south of the Loeb Boathouse and above Bethesda Terrace. Plenty of folks can be seen lazing about and cooling off from the hot NYC Summer Temperatures. This one tree pictured here is quite a sight in Spring, Summer and Autumn! As you can see there are so many photographic opportunities within New York 's Central Park.

Row boats within Central Park 's Lake. During the mid Summer afternoon so many boats take off and come back in to the Loeb Boathouse. They are available daily from 10:00am to 5:30pm which is the time of the last rentable boat. They must be returned by 6:30pm. All you need to rent one is $10 for the first hour, and $2.50 each additional 15 minutes; But, a $30 cash deposit required. Up to four people per boat. And of course you'll be provided with life preservers. Be sure to take a boat ride this Summer! You won't be sorry!
