Lion Dances within Chinatown. Another photo of the acrobatic lion dancers.

Photos here show these performers putting on quite a show with their Lion Dance at Bayard and Mott Streets.

The dancing felt as if it went on forever...not that it was a bore or repetitive. Not a chance! It's a delight to see great acrobatics being performed in such synchronized fashion

Lions congregate and do their thing outside of MoCA, Museum of Chinese in the Americas. Another parade comes along the outskirt of Columbus Park.
Photo above left is of yet more dancing, and to the right is yet another group heading north on the edge of Columbus Park. At the end of all the dancing and drumming one can't help but think: "Gee, I can't wait for next year's celebrations!" ....something which truly describes what was going through our minds. We couldn't wait to see more. Here's to all the celebrants and participants.
