|At Flushing Meadows Corona Park is the Unisphere, a stainless-steel globe above a reflecting pool with fountains. Although you won't see this fountain filled throughout the year it's a beaut with or without it.
|The 3 orbits encircling the globe signify the paths of artificial satellites. The Unisphere stands 140 feet tall and was presented at the 1964 World's Fair which took place within Flushing Meadows.

shows the 1964 Time Capsule on which the inscription reads:
