Fort Tryon Park in Manhattan, NYC Photos Gallery - Page 3 |
Situated atop Fort Tryon Park is the Cloisters. Devoted to the architecture and art of Medieval Europe, the Cloisters is a branch of the great Metropolitan Museum of Art. With suggested donations, you could get in with a dollar, and maybe even less. | 'but like the many other museums in this city, it's dependent on the monies it receives from the public. One special note is that the structure itself was designated a NYC landmark in 1974 |
There are so many paths throughout the park. Arrival at the park is best done through the A train subway. Once there, there's quite an elevator ride which'll lead you to the top. | Once there all you have to do is walk down and down and down and down. So have fun and bring your camera! |
