Grand Central Terminal, NYC Photos Gallery - Page 2
Photo of the main concourse within Grand Central Terminal with Flag beyond. Another photo of another flag within the concourse. They're quite huge.
Part of the renovated stairs within the main concourse. Beyond are the grand windows and the huge American Flag hanging from the ceiling. Decking one side of the main concourse within Grand Central are the ticket windows with displays above. Tens of millions travel through this transportation hub in a year while so many millions more simply walk upon its grounds. On any given day during the midday hours you'll see many people sometimes totaling in the hundreds standing near the signs above so's to keep track of departure times of the trains.

View from across the street on 42nd Street. Vanderbilt Hall photo.
Photo above to left is of the 42nd Street side of Grand Central Terminal with the MetLife (previously the PanAm Building) Building beyond. The other is of Vanderbilt Hall (where displays, fairs, and other events take place throughout the year). Note that before there was Grand Central Terminal, there was Commodore Vanderbilt's Grand Central Depot.
Nearby in the street, outside the doors to Vanderbilt Hall is also Pershing Square Bridge (not photographed) which allows Park Avenue traffic to encircle Grand Central from South to North and vice versa.
