With the sun hitting these rocks and the tree at just the right angle makes it all into an ultra surreal view.

Next tine we visit this site we may very well begin exploring the trails which can be found below.

Far down below is the Hudson River.

Yet another surreal view at the top of Bear Mountain.

As we were heading down the road to leave we couldn't resist stopping to capture this shot. If you look hard enough you can catch the Bear Mountain Bridge there in this photo.

In case we never mentioned it before, there always seems to be plenty of parking space for folks to park there cars at the top of the mountain. Although we wouldn't say that there's an endless supply of space it's always seemed to be adequate.
As far as the Perkins Tower is concerned. It looks as if we'll never get to climb to the top since it's always been closed. We've been returning since Spring of 2004 and have yet to catch this tower opened to the public. Hopefully sometime down the line this'll change.
