Photos above were taken in the vicinity of St. Patrick's Cathedral in Midtown Manhattan. You can see the wreaths hanging here and there along the way, although I'd swear that there was almost always a tree out on the 5th Avenue entrance of the church. |
Regardless, this site has been a huge attraction to both natives and tourists for many years and will no doubt remain so for many future years to come. |
To the left above is a photo taken of the Atlas statue on fifth avenue just at Rockefeller Plaza. Although not as beautiful as they are in real person the wreaths hanging on either side and behind the statue were quite the beaut even if seen from way across the street. |
Now! What with Rockefeller Center and its Plaza unofficially considered as the Christmas Capital of the world it's only fitting to have traffic signs to fit the mood right? Here's one on 5th Avenue with all the right yuletide colors and designs! |
These couple of pics above were taken along Park Avenue in midtown on our way to the Rockefeller Center area. In rare form was the tree all decked out in lights yet still with plenty of leaves within. Wow, the weather's been really wacky this season aye? |
Next below is a photo of a wonderfully put together arrangement of flowers and poinsettia. As usual it's never odd to stroll along the streets of New York City and come upon such items. |
