| What a treat it is walk along
and through Riverside Park during any season of the year but still a greater
joy is actually driving one's car along Riverside Drive itself! Once had
the opportunity to take out-of-towners through their very first ride in
NYC and just had to make my way through this long drive so's to show off
the beauty of the area! The area, located along the upper-western side
of Manhattan and bordering the Hudson River is a favorite spot for families,
kids, dog walkers and sports enthusiasts of all sorts. In one of the photos
above you'll spot a couple of bicycle riders heading south along the drive
on this very special Autumn Day in NYC. |
Now, if you're
not from NYC and wish to head to and through this area, driving will
always be your best bet. As for treading along on foot be forewarned
since heading down below towards the river from the street level can
be quite a hike. Not so much going down but definitely coming back up.
