A Snow Day in Pelham Parkway, Bronx, NYC Photos Gallery - Page 1
Pelham Bay Park covered with snow 1 day past Christmas. The richly colorful sky sets a nice background to the white snow covered earth.
Snow can be seen amongst all the trees on the outskirts of Pelham Bay Park, Bronx on this day after NYC's White Christmas of 2002. It is New York City's largest park. Travelling westward one heads into Pelham Parkway. A stretch of road and parkland which connects Pelham Bay Park with Bronx Park. It's a bit of walk between both sites but it's also a very scenic one on the right day. Even on a Snow day such as this one.

A tree and snow in the Bronx. A rather large snowman left behind.
The parkland beyond and houses and other structures. The snow actually didn't last too long since we experienced some very mild weather less than a week later. That is to say, New Year's Eve in NYC was rather warm for this time of year. One of many snowman, or is it snowmen? which one could find along the stretch of green that is Pelham Parkway. Or stretch of white?
