Stroll across the Queensboro Bridge, NYC Photos Gallery - Page 1
Photo of the East River facing north from the Queensboror Bridge. Our stroll begins on the Queensboro.
Located within the East River between Manhattan Island and Queens and just below the Queensboro Bridge is Roosevelt Island. It's pictured here on the left side of this photo. A few minutes into our stroll we find ourselves almost midway across the bridge. As with all other large bridges in NYC, you'll find yourself inspired and awed by the structure before you. 'and as always, there's a wonderful breeze (and sometimes heavy wind) to compliment your trek.

Photo taken, while facing Roosevelt Island and Midtown Manhattan. Picture of the passing cars.
Photo of Roosevelt Island with Manhattan Island behind. We cross the Queensboro Bridge on the Northern side. Photo of the passing cars within the center of the bridge. Built from 1901-1909 the Queensboro Bridge has its charm as well. It's considered to have the busiest traffic of all the East River Bridges. It certainly seems to be true.
