A sunset seen from Riverside Park on the Uppwer West Side of Manhattan Island. In the photo on the right you'll see a boat situated not far from the Riverside Park Edge. There are a number of these along the way from as far down as 72nd Street all the way up to this point at above 96th Street.

The path along Riverside Park can take you a long ways up. It begins at 72nd St. and if you continue your trek all the way, you'll find yourself as far north as Riverbank State Park and the George Washington Bridge which you can just vagely see in the lefthand photo. It's at the foot of the George Washington Bridge where you'll get truly scenic views of the Hudson River (as seen here) and of the Little Red Lighthouse with the New Jersey Palisades as a backdrop.
