Snow on el train station in the Bronx. More snow as viewed from within the number 6 subway line.
This particular snowstorm began in the morning of December 05th, 2002 and was the first decent storm we'd gotten in a number of years. Photos here are of a el train station in the Bronx where just above 5 inches of snow was received. Although other parts of NYC had gotten as much as 8 inches. Something to note is that it's not even Winter yet, but the latter part of Autumn.

The platform is empty at this one station near the beginning of the storm. It looks dark in this photo, but it was taken in late morning.
More photos at yet another train station. It was quite nice considering that the winds weren't too rough and it really didn't get too cold either. Cold, but not too cold. Great timing for a storm to hit us the first week of December when the trees at Rockefeller Plaza and Lincoln Square were being lit.
